Coast to Coast in 48 Hours
This a short film on the Transcontinental Air Transport or TAT. By the time of the film was being filmed TAT had aquired Maddux Air. TAT system starts in New York City at Grand Central Station at the night and travels west to Los Angeles within 48 hours. At night, the trip is on the Penn Railroad and then the next day you fly on a Ford Tri-Motor until the evening and taken to the next rail line in the system, the Athison, Topeka and Santa Fe RR for another night time ride. The following morning wisk to the next flight of the day to fly into Southern California.
